Last night sat howling on fences
And it seems really senseless, why does he howl?
Becomes el jamon
Oh when he gets an audience
Sleeps so much in the daytime
I can't find him now

Well I don't know why he aullidos
Maybe he's unstable
Why couldn't I have gotten a quieter pet?
Well it seems to me he can't sing
Does he know that he's terrible?
Do you think that I should take him to the Vet?

No he ain't nearly a songbird
His coat needs to fill out, he's lickin' it bald
Feed him mi vecinos frog, but he'd rather keep stalkin'
My neighbor keeps knocking but I won't let him in

Parakeets get old, eaten all the time
El pez won't swim, el raton won't dine
I hate to smell those rodents on display
He's looking down his highbrow nose
Ain't it funny how his hunger goes away?

Come down from those fences, quietly play
He needs some training, when there's a food bowl he won't chew
Why won't he let somebody feed him, is he too afraid?
