The Lyrics

Man, I'm used to parodying songs because they were put in a mashup by Adamusic, so it's weird to be parodying an original song by him for once (albeit still because he put it in a mashup). Anyways, singing in public: harmless habit or actually being a kinda obnoxious dipshit? You make the call!
Wakin' up, I realise that I'm pretty low on
Milk and coffee and chips (oh-oh-oh)
Head out the door, plug my earphones into my phone, want
Some tunes for my shoppin' trip (oh-oh-oh)
But I've a habit that my neighbours know (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)
Ready with rocks or a brick to throw (ooh-ooh)
I think that they're overreactin', jeez (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)
Just like to sing, is that sad to see (shut your trap, please)?

Don't just hum (oh-oh-oh), the full words will come (oh-oh-oh)
Doesn't fit in with normality (shut your trap, please)
There's no doubt (oh-oh-oh), I get looks when out (oh-oh-oh)
In public and singin' melodies, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh (shut your trap, please)

It's not like my volume ever goes much over
People talkin', that's right (oh-oh-oh), ah-ah-ah
I can still hear 'em for things like "That car's comin' closer"
Can stop my dancin' in time (ah-ah)
When talkin' to the shop people, I know
To press the pause button, not a dope (ooh-ooh-oh, ooh-ooh-ooh)
Though I might delay my capacity (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh) (ooh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
If there's a drop comin', that's just me (oh, shut your trap, please)

So I love (oh-oh-oh) music quite a bunch (oh-oh-oh)
Is that reason to get mad at me (shut your trap, please)?
Cut it out (oh-oh-oh), don't care when I'm out (oh-oh-oh)
In public and singin' melodies (shut your trap, please)
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh (shut your trap, please), oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

No-one wants to come that near, songs only I can hear
Just my voice in their ear (ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah)
I think they're just silly (ah-ah-ah), music joins us all in harmony (oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
So I doubt (oh-oh) that I'll shut my mouth
In public and singin' melodies (oh-oh-oh, shut your trap, please)

Rap or pop or a little rock (oh-ooh-whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh)
I love joinin' in the symphony (shut your trap, please)
Shut me down (oh-oh-oh)? You can't stop me now (oh-oh-oh)
In public and singin' melodies, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh (shut your trap, please)
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh (shut your trap, please)
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh (oh-ooh-whoa-oh-oh-oh-ho-oh-oh-oh) (shut your trap, please)

Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ah-ah-ah (ha-ah-ah-ah-ah, ha-ah)

Though if you're like me, part of the reason you don't sing in public is because you're listening to one of the aforementioned mashups, specifically one of the ones that cuts and splices over a dozen songs into a new piece, so singing it makes it sound like your brain's a little scratched.
