The Lyrics

When playing an RPG, everyone will inevitable devolve into rampant kleptomania...
Great stuff, I'll take it

No way, a lootable world
From armour to swords to pearls
Don't think I will be idle, won't be idle
I don't care what they're worth
Cause it's a lootable world
I think I'll invest all my perks
In Stealth and then I'll sidle, then I'll sidle
Up and go through their purse

See, I hardly pressed the start button when, on a lark
I thought it would be smart to steal my new friend's tart
Because I thought he won't eat it ever (eat it ever)
I saved the game once cause I'm not that dumb
Then crouched and got near to that tart, planned a clear
Path to run out quick so my limbs would not get severed (not get severed)
Had the treat in my sight, but a slip of mine
Made me stand up, but I was not noticed, alright
Oh lord, this game is gonna be crazy

So great, this lootable world
Nothin's been nailed down, I smirk
I'll steal their precious idol, precious idol
Cause their frontman's a jerk
I love this lootable world
It's now my PC's major quirk
He feels that he's entitled, he's entitled
To what's left by others

So I'm stealin' all the time, ev'rything will become mine
When the guards come my way, no evidence they'll find
Then they'll be in shock when suddenly they've become starkers (become starkers)
Although I have found a downside, makes me frown
No room for the merch in my trousers, it hurts
And plus there's only a few shops who buy stuff from thieves (stuff from thieves)
But ev'rything is mine, can't leave it behind
So I spend half my time managin' all my shite
Oh lord, this game is drivin' me crazy

I crave this lootable world
If I can't sell shit to clerks
I won't get homicidal, homicidal
I'll just steal all their merch
Still love this lootable world
Despite the inventory quirks
Still gain rewards and titles, all the titles
From both lords and the serfs

There's still punchin' and there's still fightin'
I won't tell lies, I'm so delighted
With what's on show, rate it ten or better (ten or better)
But the best part outright is layin' one's eyes
On somethin' that sheens with "steal me" and it's all fine
With snatchin' quick-like, the game will think you're clever (think you're clever)

Top grade, this lootable world
May make the guards go berserk
That means they're suicidal, suicidal
My level's way over
I love this lootable world
It never feels like borin' work
And so I won't be idle, won't be idle, won't be idle, won't be idle

It feels so weird only now parodying a song that was friggin' everywhere back when I actually listened to the radio in the mid-2000's a.k.a. when I started parody writing.
