 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Dish Land Is Your Land"

Parody Written by:

Airfarcewon

The Lyrics

Dish Land Is Your Land, Dish land is my land
From the urban ghettos, to the "Rent Sky High" land
From the mountain cabins, to the seaside beach homes
Dish Land is here for you and me
'
As I go drivin' these ribbons of highway
I see in front yards, and high on rooftops
Those round gray platters, with tv cables
Dish Land is everywhere you see

CHORUS

Four room receivers, free installation
Sparkling reception, High definition
Nineteen a month, Sir..plus free recorder,
Dish Land is here for you and me..

CHORUS

Digital picture, satellite reception
Top entertainment...Four hundred channels
Customers on welfare, food stamps receivin'
Dish Land is here for you and me..

CHORUS

Two payments due, now.. cut off reception
Order a new dish..from competition
Just leave the old one, install a new one
Dish Land is here for you and me

Dish Land pollution, now we see......

Dish Land Is Your Land, Dish Land is my land
From the urban ghettos, to the "Rent Sky High" land
From the mountain cabins, to the ocean beach homes,
Dish Land is here for you and me...

It's happening here in the UK too, AFW; you can tell how "white trash" a neighbourhood is by the number of dishes you see. Great job. 555

Personally, I'll never go with a dish; I've seen too many problems with them, and I barely watch the 60 or so cable channels I have now. I hope these 5s come in crisp and clear though!

lol, that's right!! they never do take them down again, I suppose, so when you change providers they just install a new one - they'll get like coat-hangers and start to breed - 555
