The Lyrics

First, I would like to thank everyone who helped me at the messageboard. Second, the version I'm spoofing is one that I've recalled several times in my mind. I'm not sure how many verses it's supposed to have so I just winged it. For this spoof, I decided that instead of just implying intoxication, I would just come right out and say it.
Nobody knows--how drunk I am.
My eyes are glazed; my brain's a yam.
How drunk I am!

The barkeep knows--how much I drank.
To buy my booze, I broke the bank.
How much I drank!

My buddies know-- how sick I got.
Went to the john and heaved a lot.
How sick I got!

The public knows--how dumb I was.
I fell face down--right on the bus.
How dumb I was!

So now I know--hangovers blow.
It took a week--for it go.
Hangovers blow!

Three fives and an honerable mention in the Obits for this one. Must have been the mother of all hang-overs. I saw your request for assistance on the messageboard but I could not find anything on the OS of this song either. Anyway, it looks good as whatever OS I remember. But then again memory is always the second thing to go.

DKTOS, unless this has anything to do with "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen" etc.
