The Lyrics

I submitted this before the World Series under the name A Room full of Deranged Red Sox Fans, so as to get an unbiased opinion. After the series was over, I expanded it and made it into a FLASH animated cartoon. Click here to take you to the cartoon DerangedCartoon.
Nine guys have told the story of the ending of the Curse
We have bashed the Yankee pitchers as they went from bad to worse
We have beamed their hanging sliders to another universe
These Sox are marching on

Chorus:

Glory, glory Massachusetts
Even A-Rod couldn't screw us
Yanks are dead here comes St. Louis
These Sox are marching on

We start with mighty Damon through Ramirez and Ortiz
We got Pedro And Curt Schilling and we score runs as we please
Now the hated Yanks have fallen, look there's George to help them leap
Guess A-Rod's flying home

2nd Chorus:

Sorry, George the Yanks were brutal
All your money men were futile
A-Rod's our new Yankee Doodle
In truth he's just A-Fraud

I have seen him circle pop-ups like a vulture circles prey
They have booed him 'cause he cannot hit the curve low and away
And when it comes to fighting I'll take Varitek all day
He stuck one in his craw

Sorry, George the Yanks were brutal
All your money men were futile
A-Rod took one on the noodle
In truth he's just A-Fraud

George had opened up his wallet for the patsies at our feet
He's still looking for their heart now that they've gone down to defeat
Oh, it took awhile but waiting made the victory so sweet
And A-Rod's flying home

Glory, glory Massachusetts
Even A-Rod couldn't screw us
Yanks are dead here comes St. Louis
These Sox are marching on

They took out Brown, put in Vasquez but Damon took him deep
The once proud mighty Yankees sit in silence as they weep
We kiss our girlfriends on the strikes, they kiss us on the (Bleep)
These Sox just have a ball

Goin', goin' to St. Louis
Yes, the fans will prob-ly boo us
We'll come back to Massachusetts
As Champions of the world

In the City of St. Louis the Bambimo"s curse was freed
And a grateful Red Sox Nation thanks this team from A to Z
We've got the Yankees eating crow and torment them with glee
Singing Who's Your Daddy Now

Glory Glory Massachusetts
Sox went in and swept St. Louis
Now the curse means nothing to us
We're Chamnpions of the World.

Now this has been a story of the old Bambino's curse
And the Cubs have got their answer
Yes, the billy goat's is worse
And George is so pissed off (he asks
A-Fraud to re-im-burse
With crow stuck in his craw..

Glory Glory Massachusetts
Sox went in and swept St. Louis
A-Rod sure ain't no Joe Louis
His Boxing days are done

Stuart, many thanks for the nice comments. I was lucky enough to find a brilliant man named Randall Haws by searching Google for a flash cartoonist, and as luck would have it he only lives 40 miles away from me, and even luckier that he has a great sense of humor along with the vision to help me get this project underway. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone who needs website development or flash projects...he is simply amazing. Samples of his work can be seen by visiting my home page at www.derangedcartoon.com.

I missed this one yesterday. It was really good! I enjoyed it. Very creative and well-written. It deserves a 5-5-5 in my book. Oh, and I clicked on your deranged cartoon as well. :) Keep up the good work, Dee.

Dee - I watched the cartoon parody today. Really funny stuff. Looks like you put a lot of effort into this. It was one huge hit, with no runs and no errors. Actually I put 15 runs on your score board here on the site.

Guy, many thanks for watching the cartoon. I am very proud of it, considering it was a first effort and, time wise, necessary to rush to get it out before the Baseball fever dimmed and interest waned.. .Many thanks to you and everyone here at Amiright who watched!!!
Goz - February 19, 2005 - Report this comment
I loved the parody, but I can't get to the flash movie anymore! What's up with that?
Goz - February 19, 2005 - Report this comment
Is there some other site that has the movie? I'd really like to see it again...
Jared - March 07, 2005 - Report this comment
This was an absolutely classic parody. I must have watched it 100 times and memorized all the lyrics. But like Goz said, where did it go??? I can't find it anywhere online and derangedcartoon.com doesn't work anymore/

I have a copy of it on CD - which I'll copy for you for $140 - I'm sure Dee won't mind......oh, and by the way, it's real, and it's spectacular!
Mewman - August 16, 2005 - Report this comment
WHERE CAN I FIND THIS CARTOON???? Baseball Playoff Fever is coming around again soon and this cartoon is nowhere to be found. :-(
Dee Range - August 17, 2005 - Report this comment
Mewman, Christopher Maahs, Jared and Goz, I took my cartoon off the web after interest waned and orders for the CD-ROM and DVD dried up. If you are interested enough to buy a copy, let me know. My phone number is 817-560-3276. It is the only way to see it now, the website was taken down, along with the store selling the cd and dvd. And thanks for the kind comments, glad you liked the parody and cartoon!!

I saw this when it first came out. I must have watched it 20 times it was so good and funny. Does your offer still stand to sell a copy at that number you gave???
