OK, 555, but a few things are off. Number one, what will UK use to bomb but Harrier GR.9s? Your Tornados are ADVs ( Air Defense Version) and the Typhoon? Maybe, maybe not. Second, Russia in months has out bombed the entire coalition of US, Western, and Arab AFs, even carpet bombing with the Bears and Blackjacks, hitting more high value targets with greater firepower. Third, the Russian Bomber was a Su-24 Fencer _strike_aircraft that had hit Syrian Rebel positions before being jumped from behind by two Turk F-16s after a 67 second stray. Had it been a Flanker they would backed off and since then Russia provides top cover with Flankers. No F-16s, no F-22s dare come close. MiG-31s also routinely shoot down Turk UAVs and can shoot down small targets like Predators, Reaper's, etc...

Note: in 2015 UK converted Tornado ADVs to makeshift IDS to bomb ISIS in pinprick strikes. UK has no strategic bombers, unlike the US and Russia ( even China)!

Rob, I know exactly what you mean: it's not like the RAF has massive capability in this area any more. But to listen to the debate, you'd think we were going to play a major, even critical part.

Leough - they might have considered the OS a bit too obscure.. I think this is a stronger song than one of mine that is still in there four months on, which is surprising for a topical revue (I guess that must still be getting a good reception :-) ). Feels strange after all these years to actually be receiving royalty cheques for parodies
