The Lyrics

Last week, Jimmy Fallon's show took television to a new low. When Michele Bachmann was introduced, his band leader Questlove and The Roots played the song "Lyin' *ss B*tch" by Fishbone. As Representative Bachmann did not know the song, this constituted a musical sucker punch. Questlove claimed that this was a spur-of-the-moment act. In reality, he tweeted before the show has he was going to pull some snark that would "take the cake". Fallon smugly tweeted afterwards that Questlove would be "grounded". As a suprising and significant number of people were offended, both performers and N.B.C. have issued the usual lame insincere apologies, and no action was even considered. I don't like Representative Bachmann, but this is the latest in a long series of vulgar tasteless attacks on conservative women that has become acceptable and encouraged in our culture. People have been fired for saying and doing less, but it's perfectly fine to say and do these things to any woman who does not espouse the official liberal creed. Do it to Pelosi or Hillary and you'll never work again. Do it to Sarah Palin or Ann Coulter and you're a media hero. I wish Letterman and Fallon were on the same network. I wouldn't have to change the channel each night after Jay Leno. ;D

Fallon and Questlove love snark as you know,
And so when Bachmann appeared on their show
They said here's our chance to strike a low blow.
We'll trash that real Lyin' *ss B*tch!
Questlove had tweeted his plan in advance.
Both of them chuckled. It was their big chance
To kick that filthy ho - right in the pants
And nail that real Lyin' *ss B*tch!

When she came on
Roots - played that foul song
To do her wrong.
The ho - didn't know.
They planned the whole thing. It wasn't a glitch.
Quest smacked that real Lyin' *ss B*tch!

But while they giggled, the 'net went a'light.
Fallon was shocked that - it started a fight.
We always do this - to whores on the right.
Each one's a real Lyin' *ss B*tch!
Questlove can't see why - sorry should be said.
He's upped his standing, his hip/hop street cred.
If he were Suh he'd - have stomped on her head (1)
And maimed that real Lyin' *ss B*tch!

'Though N.B.C.
Faked - insincere shame,
All's still the same.
Both gone? Dream on!
Jim and Quest sorry? Hell no, not one stitch!
There's no denyin' - that they'll keep tryin'
To smash that real Lyin' *ss B*tch!

(1) Detriot Lions defensive lineman who flagrantly stomped on a prone Green Bay player on national television on Thanksgiving Day. And NO - I'm not buying the rationale of liberal commentators that Fallon/Questlove's stunt is to be commended because Bachmann really IS a Lyin' *ss B*tch! In the final analysis, this WAS a priceless commercial...for the Craig Ferguson Show. ;D

Whatever one thinks of Bachmann, it WAS out of line. Besides, she's not lying. As George Costanza taught us, "It's not a lie if you believe it." And she believes all that crazy stuff she says! Such as that her husband and anyone else could be "an ex-gay."

Good work here... didn't see either the Lions game or the Fallon episode, but you did well here. I'm rooting for Ron Paul in 2012 myself... 5s.
