The Lyrics

(hey Mike.. no hard feelings... lol.. lets support the whole set of parody writers. keep up the site for chucky guys
I guess I thought I'd be here forever
another confusion it's close you ingrate
you don't know what I've got
my bait is gone
and I pulled back a little too late

I was angling, and you'd be lucky to have me
dangling the flavour
I hardly knew fish at all
then you were one
this may be all wrong
had no Idea if you'd be spared

now hooking into you will take a lot of getting used to
I could learn to live with it
but I don't want to fish without you
how much rejection can I take?
instead of getting easier, it's the hardest thing to take
I'm addicted to fish baby..
you're a hard haddock to fake

you bit for someone else
you were out of season
no one can blame him for coming to you
two beings together, and fishing alone
I was baiting my hook for you

after several beers,
and a chocolate shake
I'm feeling better
they say it just takes time
but here in the sea, it's just you fish and me
I can't get fish outta my mind

now hooking into you will take a lot of getting used to
I could learn to live with it
but I don't want to fish without you
how much rejection can I take?
instead of getting easier, it's the hardest thing to take
I'm addicted to fish baby..
you're a hard haddock to fake

I will fish on, just got a fish on
I can't go on, just got a fish on

now hooking into you will take a lot of getting used to
I could learn to live with it
but I don't want to fish without you
how much rejection can I take?
instead of getting easier, it's the hardest thing to take
I'm addicted to fish baby..
you're a hard haddock to fake

I'mmaddicted to you
you're a hard haddock to fake
such a hard haddock to fake
I'm addicted to you baby

If folks would take the time to read your intro (seems like you have lots to say here) HONEST: Pacing seemed ok (5) Funny - It did'nt stike me as so and I read it twice (3). Your parody is original and I always grant points for that. I'm not a Chicago fan or a fan of this song so you lost a little there. I'm a kind of put it in your face strait foward kind of reader, so don't mince words for some kind of underlying meaning.(3) As far as rejection I'll have you know I always look at your parodies and vote on them (even if I don't have the time or energy to leave comments.) How's that?
