Parody Song Title:

"Wet Christmas"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Borrowing Phil Alexander's title, but going in a different direction...
(Verse, not often heard)
No I'm not pining, I feel serene
Around on this stool I sway
I'm drinking a little gin
Way down south in ole TN
When it's December the 24th---
I will toast those who are up north.....

I'm dreaming of a wet Christmas
And I ain't talkin' about snow
Want some bloody mary's, all hot and hairy
With stalks of celery, you know

I'm dreaming of a wet Christmas
I'll have some whiskey sours, alright
With those little cherries to bite
Maybe green will start appearing white

I'm drinking to a white Christmas
Down at the corner bar I know
Where the folks are laughing
And egg nog passing
And nobody's feelin' low

I'm dreaming of a wet Christmas
Kentucky bourbon mixed with Sprite
May your days be merry and bright
They can sure be wet, if they're not white

Johnny-thanks for adding some redemption; I never felt that all the worship was just relegated to a church house

Great job, you probably speak for many! Watch out for beer though, lotsa carbs!

Leah---Yes, I know about beer and carbs, and it's too bad, cause I like beer--but one usually can satisfy me, so I guess that's not too bad. Thanks for reading.

Very nice! And yeah, that's what I'll be doing, I think... one of our dorms is sponsoring a party called Casemas, and considering they're fundraising by selling shot glasses, I can guess what will probably be the main entertainment. Oh, also this reminds me of Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie's newest song, It's Jesus's Birthday: http://www.deadtroll.com

Nice song, Royce. Although I thought it was going to be about Depends. A sequel? No? d;:^)
