Amazing the technology the Germans were able to produce, way ahead of us. Remember the line from "Dr. Strangelove" in which the US president is comparing the Americans and the Russians for military prowess? He boasted "Our Germans can beat their Germans".

Depends on what area of technology. In space the Soviets got the Draeger spacesuit, the Peenemunde cluster rocket and escape system, the design for an ICBM, and satellites. They were the first to put a sat in space, a dog, a man, a woman, and did the first space walk and later first space station. They spent more time in space than anyone else. They also got a lot of German missile tech and aviation tech, but Stalin hated aviation and would not allow direct copies of German prototypes. However, they got the MiG-15 off the Fw Ta 183, and an Il bomber off the He-343. They experimented with FSW for aircraft and got WIG tech from Lippische's work. Developed the AK-47 from the Stg-44 And RPG from German Panzerfausts plus Saggers from X-7. Soviet bombers got huge turboprop engines from Germans and also attack helos derived from the Fl-282. The US got the lion"s share of captured hardware and the most Intel with millions of documents and most patents. Germany was raped of scientists and knowledge. All modern arms tech is still dominated by TR weaponry- stealth, bunker busters, every missile type, all assault weapons, nerve gas, sub tech, and most of military aviation including helo tech. Many German secret weapons are still classified and compartmentalized. Disc craft until 2020 and what was at Jonastal S.III until 2045!!!
