The Lyrics

Considering that today will probably be a day with lots of parodies that either diss or praise GWB I decided that I should take a somewhat different approach and give you the worst of both worlds; a (somewhat late) debate between the president and a liberal opponent. For pacing reasons the liberal has to go first in each verse.
- The right in the White House's like a crackhead on high,
a quagmire of moral in a shirt and a tie.

- You liberals flinch to see we'll never be safe abroad,
we're knights to embark on a crusade against fraud.

- We liberals tell you that you're not obliged to take a side there,
and as for terror, tell me have you even found Al-Qaida gear?

In Your Years!
In Your Years!
In Your Years!
In Your Years!

- Big Brother bills passes when your senate is in,
your red light is out and there's no liberal sin.

- "Don't ask, don't tell" goes up the river, faggots, let me tell you,
go wipe your tears and stop to swear, then ask your peers what'll Jesus do?

For More Years!
For More Years!
For More Years!
For More Years!

SPOKEN PART (BY MICHAEL MOORE)
He should resign from his crimes
Heading doorwards and disperse
Still, my golden calf
He's like a trip to the Bank

- From now till it's over you're a spendfest, I'll bet,
that Arm-an'-ged'-on won't even clear out your debt.

- Reading your lips, now that takes welfare support,
though queues are so long that one would have to abort.

- You never wanted it to come to this, now did ya Dubya,
believe me when I say that lobbyists are gonna rob ya, blind

Four More Years!
Four More Years!
Four More Years!
Four More Years!

SPOKEN ENDING (BY MICHAEL MOORE)
It's still a land under Bush
Under Bush
Under Bush
Under Bush
Under Bush
Under Bush
Under Bush
Under Bush
under bush'
' Peter Andersson. Here's a bit of trivia about the original song; it was actually written by Lemmy from Mot'rhead (it's in his book "White line fever" but was pretty well known in the Mot'rhead community even before that came out). Lemmy was already credited as co-writer for half the album and I guess he pretty much felt that the performing artist should at least be credited for the title track so he sold the rights away for $100 and a bottle of JD. Now if that's not a true Rock & Roller I don't know what is. :-)

Amazing! This is parody with balance between the opinions of the republicans and the opinions of the democrats and even some additional bonus poking fun of Michael Moore actually making a good living out of Bush. And still the One Guy hits it faster than the speed of light. On some level I actually find that amusing...
