New Nirvana, Old Granada Parody of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" By Nirvana New Lyrics By Jimmy Ilgwom Nazrat
Go steal a gun, pack a knife,
let speed and acid run your life.
and the get down in a life of crime,
but that cody man, she's a waste of time.

Come on' man,
let all, those good times roll,

Come on' man,
let all, those good times roll,

Come on' man,
let all, those good times roll,

Let em' roll!
Let em' roll!
Let em' roll!

When school let's out,
it gets dangerous!
Kids hooked on drugs,
Cops hooked on their ass!
From their offspring,
sprouts the madness!
Ring the bell now!
Our minds are dismissed!

Man, I'm flashin'
Man, I'm trashin'
Was it speed? or was is acid? yeah!

Pigs don't stay, on their beat,
you can get busted for
walking down the street.
Deputy dog makes me sick,
Just don't have a nail file
longer than his dick.

Mom's all right,
Dad's all right,
Just a little weird.

Mom's all right,
Dad's all right,
Just a little weird.
Mom's all right,
Dad's all right,
Just a little weird.

A little weird.
A little weird.
A little weird.

When school let's out,
it gets dangerous!
Kids hooked on drugs,
Cops hooked on their ass!
From their offspring,
sprouts the madness!
Ring the bell now!
Our minds are dismissed!

Man, I'm flashin'
Man, I'm trashin'
Was it speed? or was is acid? yeah!

And I forget just why I was late,
Think I had to piss, I mean urinate.
I go as straight, as I'll walk the line,
Adios you narcy's, nevermind!!

Ooh child, things are going to get easier.
Ooh child, things are going to get easier.
Ooh child, things are going to get easier.
When the,
hair is,
much lighter,

When school let's out,
it gets dangerous!
Kids hooked on drugs,
Cops hooked on their ass!
From their offspring,
sprouts the madness!
Ring the bell now!
Our minds are dismissed!

You got a lotta laws right!
Well, I got one law!
A kid who tells on another kid,
is a dead kid!

New Nirvana,
Old Granada, X 3

We're OVER THE EDGE!!!
Kurt Cobain finally got his wish! :-)

Syllable overload...... Too high for me to even attempt to pace. Otherwise, it's humorous and twisted.

Yes, it's true Stephen, that the song is a bit of a syllable overkill, but aren't most grunge songs from grunge bands that way as well?
Stephen Harrington - August 19, 2010 - Report this comment
Well, the comparison to the original's syllable count and lyrical flow is what I was talking about. I had trouble trying to make your parody fit to Smells like Teen Spirit. No offense. : )
