Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Outside"

The Lyrics

Because everyone's got a slightly mad side somewhere.
Back to bed now
I'll go back to bed now

I think I've eaten the sofa
I think I've eaten the floor
I think I've eaten the kitchen table whole now

Can't go outside
Can't go outside
Can't see sunshine
I really want to but they won't say yes
Can't go outside
Can't go outside
To see moonbeams
They've taken me to places that suit me best

My nurse, she says don't you worry
About the things you're seeing, yeah
All your friends in strange places
And the games that you lost today
Just you to play it

Can't go outside
Can't go outside
Can't see sunshine
I really want to - they just won't say yes
Can't go outside
Can't go outside
Where's the moonbeams
They've taken me to places that suit me best

And, yes, I am mad
Doctor, try to cure me if you can
You see I think about eating cloth twenty-four seven
Twenty-four, twenty-four seven

You see, I buy it and eat it
I never really have it enough
There's nothing left but fluff and threads
Fluff and threads
Fluff and threads
Fluff and threads

Back to bed now
I'll go back to bed now
I'll take myself back to bed now

I've finished munching the sofa
I've finished munching the floor
I've finished munching the kitchen table leg now

Can't go outside
Can't go outside
Chasing carpets
I really want to but you won't say yes
Can't go outside
Can't go outside
Chasing moonbeams
You're taking me to places that suit me best

And, yes, I am mad
Doctor, try to cure me if you can
You see I think about eating cloth - Care in The Community
Is the only thing for me

You see, I buy it and eat it
I never really have it enough
There's nothing left but fluff and threads
Fluff and threads
Fluff and threads
Fluff and threads

Can't go outside
Won't let me go out there, will you?
When the moon is round
And the grass is chewy
Come on, don't keep me in here
Don't keep me in here
Don't keep me in here

Dear L.B.G.G I really admire your parody writing skills but I feel this is a let-down compared to some of your other quality parodies. The biggest problems with this one is that it contains too much of the original song, the pacing is a bit off here and there and I have no idea what you are parodying about, (unless its just about someone eating bits of cloth) Im sorry for my low vote but I felt this didn't justify the high marks I usually give you. Anyway lets hope this is just a one-off and you will continue to entertain me with your quality parodies!
