I sit and think at night, listening to the silence
Seeking all my creativeness it’s writers block I blame
And so far I have no pun, I just may have lost those moments
I hope June will bring miracles and I wont cry with pain

Where did my skill go
Why can’t I fill length seems I lost the devotion
Come back all I know
Cause I want to submit it brings good emotion
Need rhymes that’s paced wrong
This feeling well it is not in my control
Trying weeks away
Will I finish this today?
What’s wrong? I don’t know

I turn and toss at night and why not completing?
And I feel like something is wrong, submitted one each day
I’ve gone to weekly, it seemed all I can do at the moment
Try to smile because I get messed up when I start feeling gray

Beyond my control
Need to find out what is giving the bad feeling
Beyond my control
To conquer with love and it’s power of healing
This doesn’t seem fair
Get out of the dark, get out of the cold
Get up and be tough, but that ain't enough
Now take a view whole

Could be people elsewhere asking you for some human kindness
And or maybe who feel fallen, go and help them to revive
What seems wrong could be right It can still fill those desires
And it gives me all the love I need to keep myself alive

Can seek another joy when I get a sorrow
I do have control
Start searching now I cant wait for tomorrow
I’ve got to be hard
Hard as the rock in that old rock 'n' roll song
But that's only part, I have in my heart
I do have control
