The Lyrics

this is another Christian parody. i know this isn't one of the Ladies' most popular songs, but most of the words just came to me. the parody's not really meant to be funny, but serious. so check it over and tell me what you think.
Key to the Lord
I stick to the score
I know it's no fable and the meaning's decipher'le (decipherable)
No teasin', I read
Jesus rose from the dead
If you're lookin' for cowards, you can look somewhere else though
And then will you seek
a Man who's healing the weak?
He loves all the goats; I said to find it 'side

My Toolbox (Toolbox)
the Toolbox of Life

It's my Daily Bread
His letters in red
It helps me with school stuff and the things in the future
From the first missing rib
to when Satan had fibbed
to the lamest attempt at pretending it's nothin'
I'm only sixteen
I fully know what it means
My God is the single God who's built into

My Toolbox (Toolbox)
the Toolbox of Life
the Toolbox (Toolbox)
the Toolbox of Life

Did somebody tell you
you should read John 3:16?
Or did you deny it
and you don't want anymore from me?

Was it something He said?
Was it something you read?
That's making you think that you should never have your fear?
He can offer you life
You can tell Him goodbye
You can tell Him you're sorry, I can tell you the Truth here
And what if you should?
Would it do you some good?
You prob'ly should check out all the contents of

My Toolbox (Toolbox)
the Toolbox of Life
the Toolbox (Toolbox)
the Toolbox of Life

Read John 19, 20
Romans 10:9 and read more
Jesus rose to find me and you, so don't fear anymore

Li-i-i-i-i-i-ife....
if some of you havent figured it out yet, i'm using the words "toolbox of life" as a metaphor for the Holy Bible, and i encourage you to go look it up. if anyone has any questions and/or concerns you can email me if you want at [email protected]

I like it because UNLIKE Paul Robinson's "For Your Sins Gave His Life," you actually MEAN what you say and show respect for the Lord. Since it's not supposed to be funny (which I'm OK with in this case), I give you 5-3-5, but that's meant as a big compliment.
