One of my old G/Fs used to buy these comics and tried to force me to read them, but I always considered them junk comics like the Bazooka bubble gum strips! These two HOT girls in love with a redhead moron are supposed to be in HS but one is the classic Playboy Girl-Next-Door blonde Betty Cooper and the other is the rich brunette Fashonista Veronica Lodge!!! Archie is a good guy, but has some lousy friends: the nerd Dilton, the stupid jock Moose, his rival Reggie, and a glutton of a friend Jughead. The kids go to Riverdale High and hang out at the Chocklit Shoppe after school where poor Pop Tate has to give them a tab that they seldom pay and offers good advoce that they seldom heed. At school, it's nothing but antics and the friendships sway with the non-stop practical jokes and silly romantic rivalries. But in the end Archie's loyalty seems to band them together. Uh, BS!!! I'll stick to DC/Marvel/Image/Dynamite Comics and REAL heroes!!!
