The Lyrics

As you know , or at least most people know , this a parody of Harrison Ford's character in the Star Wars Trilogy , it's basically a compliment to the character.
The Giant Rug ,
Giant Rug ,
Giant Rug ,
Giant Rug.

He puts the boom boom to Leia's heart ,
his space ship soars sky high , when the engine starts.
A giant rug...is his best friend ,
they argue back and forth , to the very end.

C3PO bugs him ,
or something ain't right.
His best friend chewy ,
is not of the same height.
Some dream of Luke ,
but I dream of him instead.

Take me out , with Han Solo ,
Not with that rambling droid , C3PO.
Take me out , with Han Solo ,
I don't wanna miss the Falcon go sky high.
Take me out , with Han Solo ,
Contradict him , is a big fat No-No.
Take me out , with Han Solo ,
and take me blasting tonight...
I wanna soar sky high!

He doesn't care if your in the way ,
if your his enemy , then he'll blast you away.
He'll turn your joy right into a flame ,
He'll beat you down , because he has no shame.

Cuz' he wants his lady ,
she thinks he's a fool.
He hits on Leia ,
and then she acts so cruel.
''Come on baby , let's not fight.''
Then at the end , they make out all that night.

Take me out with Han Solo ,
Was frozen in carbonite , that was so cold.
Take me out with Han Solo ,
could beat the crap out of that Jar Jar guy.
Take me out with Han Solo ,
He's outfit looks so 74'-o.
Take me out with Han Solo ,
he'll take me blasting tonight...
and then we might get high........
( in the falcon ).

I really wanted to love this...but I stumbled on pacing quite a bit. Still...I'm not sure if my Wham isn't as good as it once was...so I'm going to wait to vote...for now. (GREAT idea, though!)

Someone who did such a good job with the parody could have done a better job with the title---the pacing of your title goes with "Take Me Out to the Ballgame", but not with the song you used. But you deserve credit for your parody.

Some lovely lines, but also some missing (a couplet before the "Some dream of Luke" line, IIRC). But lots of fun, nonetheless :-)

Chris: You're all clear, kid! Arwen: I'm sure your wham is better than ever. (I have to go wash my mouth out with soap now.)
