FABULOUS, Agri!! I love Love LOVE Mad Libs, and this parody is just the perfect tribute to their glory! I wish I had thought of it first!

Ahhhh, some BRILLIANT ORIGINALITY on AmIRight -- always refreshing!!
Stuart McArthur - August 16, 2006 - Report this comment
never heard of Mad Libs, but I assume it's a take-off of ad libs - and as [name] D, immediately above me, [verb]ed - a [adjective] [adjective] breath of originality - 555

I thought the links were intentional. Very original, Agri! 555

I, like Stu, was not familiar with madlibs...but I shan't be playing regularly- my mind's off-kilter enough as it is! 555
Red Ant - August 21, 2006 - Report this comment
One of the most unique parodies I've ever read. I loved the "insert-your-own-parts-of speech" in the brackets. 555.
Spaff.com - August 23, 2006 - Report this comment
Stellar stuff, Aggro. I once did a Christmas newsletter in Mad-Libs style, but it never occurred to me to use the idea for a song parody. I wish it had. This is ingenious. It totally [action verb]s [body part].
The Charnstar - September 11, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) I absolutely love it, great OS and great parody, 5-5-5
Chris Bodily TM - September 15, 2006 - Report this comment
Am I the only [noun] for whom the MP3 is timing out at the end of the second verse? This is [verb]ing me off [adverb]! Can somebody please [verb] a different MP3 that actually [verbs] correctly? [Term of gratitude]! I'll see if VH1 has it on V Spot.
Chris Bodily TM - September 15, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) Oh, [verb] it, V-Spot didn't have the video (imagine that!) Oh well, I had to [verb] your entry without the use of the [adjective] [noun] by [name of artist]. I had to [verb] it as a(n) [verb] piece of writing. It was so [adjective], I had to [verb] you all [number]s! 555
Cat - September 17, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) WOW!! [superlative adverb] [very positive adjective] parody, Agri! This was very original!
wannabemustangjockey - September 18, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) This is a blank-free comment. I must say, your song is a very clever and original concept for a parody! Wow, my comment sounds incredibly stupid. Anyways...hi. Nice song.
Luke Brattoni - September 19, 2006 - Report this comment
Ingenious concept for a song parody and you executed it with due justice. [Verb] [Reflexive pronoun] [Adjective] [Plural numerals]!
Peter Andersson a.k.a K1chyd - September 21, 2006 - Report this comment
SOTM - Great parody idea!!! You should mail Chucky about somehow setting something like this up as a new section on Amiright, something like this: The current Billboard #1 as a Mad Lib Sub Page.
Michael McVey - September 21, 2006 - Report this comment
I remember (plural pronoun). Looks like Agri (verb) another set (preposition) 5's from (name of a country in South America). -- MM

(SOTM) I was overcome with LAUGHTER at the sight of this PARODY by such a genius as this. My HEART was lighter and my DAY was brighter. Thanks!

(SOTM) As I said above, very original idea and execution.

(SOTM) [adjective] [expletive], [author of this parody]! There were so many [adjective] [nouns], and [phrase], the [adjective] [noun] is [adjective] as well! If [pronoun] were the type of [noun] to [verb], [pronoun] would [verb] you [numerical adjective] [numerical nouns]!! And don't [verb] if you can't undrstand what the [expletive] [pronoun] just [past tense verb], you're [phrase]! Translation: Holy ****, Agrimorfee! There were so many brilliant lines, and to top it all off, the original song is awesome as well! If I were the type of person to vote, I would give you triple 5's!! And don't worry if you can't understand what the **** I just said, you're in good hands! Happy now? Do you want to kill me for jumping on the bandwagon? Excellent.
Stuart McArthur - September 27, 2006 - Report this comment

Very clever original idea, wish I'd thought of this one. Really enjoyed reading this.
Flying frog - November 23, 2006 - Report this comment
I dont think this was that great of a song.
Ashley - December 23, 2006 - Report this comment
Personally I thought this was a lazy parody. If I was to write a parody, I would figure out all those blanks that were ignored by putting in all those square brackets and such.
Matthias - March 15, 2007 - Report this comment
Still as brilliant as the day you wrote it, yes it was a lazy parody, but it was a genius lazy parody
Rick C - March 27, 2007 - Report this comment
(SOTY) As I said above, one of the most truly original ideas I've seen around here.
Red Ant - February 11, 2008 - Report this comment
(ABC4-M) I think this would make for a better video than pure recording, sorta like Alannis M's "My Humps". [Adjective] is a hard scan to the original words, but this still a really good parody and unique idea.
Matthias - February 15, 2008 - Report this comment
(ABC-M): I'm with Red Ant, I was about to say that Dave should record this one for you, but then I was thinking nooooo.... That wouldn't quite work, would it? There are some parodies that can't be recorded, because they would lose humor in doing so. This one is perfect as a written work (except I don't know what a "Gerund" is... I don't think I've heard of that part of speach in school.
Agrimorfee - February 15, 2008 - Report this comment
Matthias: A gerund is any verb with -ing.

(ABC4) See above (and sorry for the ludicrouslong long comment above, I was stupid...er then)! Still [Adjective]!
stuart mcarthur - February 20, 2008 - Report this comment
(ABCM) such an inspired original idea, Ag - deserves all the applause because it's one of those ideas that is just so effortlessly funny the parody can't fail - "I find it hard to [verb]" is just such a hilarious line - 555
Jeff Reuben - February 20, 2008 - Report this comment
Still one of the most clever ideas for a song I've seen. Lots of fun reading this again.
Below Average Dave - February 20, 2008 - Report this comment
(ABC) The idea is classic, like a writing parody exercise for those who don't know how to write them. I have to say that pacing isn't quite as strong as I would have liked, and as Matty pointed out It's not one I could realistically record without it losing it's point . . .still a very clever, VERY original idea. "[Silly word] [boy's name], what's my [body part]?" Reminds me of fuzzy dice from Spencers:)
Invisible Boy - February 20, 2008 - Report this comment
(ABC) What a fantastic and original idea. I don't know what I can add to what has been said above...very witty...very clever...excellent !!!
Mikey Squirrel - February 20, 2008 - Report this comment
ABC- Wow, Agri.. I have to say this is very clever and funny. I played this game once, and reading this brought back a few memories. I also agree this should be kept as a written parody. Well done!

Now that I KTOS, this is HILARIOUS, 5s again
Matthias - September 01, 2010 - Report this comment
This is a Agrimorfee classic, Sadly this one is going to be impossible to ever record (so while it works amazingly as a written work being sung or for that matter recorded would take a lot away from it).

(Artistry 80) Well written, Agri! Gotta love those Mad Libs! I believe that this (noun) deserves lots of (adjective). I (verb)ed this a 5(number)5...where the number is still 5!
Rex - September 12, 2010 - Report this comment
(Artistry) There aren't many writers who could have pulled this off, and you did it brilliantly. [number] [number] [number].
bobpiecheese - September 12, 2010 - Report this comment
(Artistry) Still awesome. I think a recording may work if the bracketed words are done by a speech synthesiser program, like Microsoft Sam, then edited to account for pitch. Could work. Have another [numbered vote]!
