When the American Spectator broke the news that it had recovered the full abscam video of John "Jack" Murtha's dealings with an FBI agent pretending to be the intermediary for a rich shiek, Alan Colmes' pathetic ploy to distract the viewers from the inconvenient facts contained therein was to start whining that the video's release was "politically motivated" unlike, presumably, every other scandalous disclosure ever made against a politician! The facts are the facts, regardless of motivations for their disclosure, and the facts presented in the tape show Murtha to be a crafty dealer, not only open to bribery, but well-versed in disguising bribes as "investments" and looking to cut his co-conspirators out of the deal.

The liars of the leftstream did their best to keep this news out of circulation, of course, and Murtha kept his office, but when Pelosi tried selling the new "blue dogs" of Congress on the preposterous notion of electing Murtha their Majority Leader, the "blue dogs" weren't buying.

I must admit I was almost sorry to see Murtha lose against the slightly-less-corrupt Hoyer. I've been laughing hard all week, and Murtha in a prominent leadership position would surely have filled many more of my days with laughter. Still, that's one down, a million to go; Murtha is but one of the crooks in Congress. Anyone who seriously entertains the belief that the Dhimmicrats will "clean house" and root out corruption in Congress is about to be seriously disillusioned; the entire Dhimmicrat enterprise is one of corruption, not to mention perversion and judicial tyranny. Those "blue dogs" are in for a rude awakening as well: whatever she pretends, Pelosi is going to do her best to keep them from reforming her party.
