Some guy who commented on my last Motorhead parody, Gatorade, first suggested that I do this parody. I wasn't serious about it until today.
Dehydrated, a dime I had,
I was nearing dehydration,
The vender had pop and beer,
That stuff gives deprivation,
I want something that will never fizz,
Has vitamins,this is not a quiz,
Treat 'em like babies, here's a fact:
You know the juice is better than the Coke
I drink pop on certain levels, juice unfetched
Vitamins A, B, C, and D
I like a little innocent drink,
I mean, drinks without carbons
I love pop baby, but not enough,
It's bad like wine, prefer the punch,
If I'd bought a Coke, I'd kick my own ass,

Bought some Hi-C, at a local grocery
Has Vitamin C

As you might be able to tell from my nickname (though deliberately spelled "wrong"), Mot�rhead is my favourite band of all time! With almost 250 songs recorded it�s about time they got some parodies done here. I would have done it myself already, if it wasn�t for the fact that I like them so much that it feels like a (personal) sacriledge to dig into their songs and work them like that. :-) Anyway, that doesn�t stop me from enjoying reading what others can do to them. I might even pass along the occasional idea or two. Here�s a couple to start with. "Ace of Spades" could be redone as "Ass of Spades - The Saddam deck of cards version". "Joy of labour" could be redone as "Pain of labor" and this one above, "The chase is better than the catch" could, a bit more suitable if you�re familiar with Lemmy�s experienced believes, be redone as "JD (Jack Daniels) is better than the drugs".
Btw, Snaggletoth, Ace of Spades hasalready been parodied as "Gatorade" by this same dude. Anyway, I also dig this killer parody, dude!

I love Motorhead! Just wait till Lemmy hears my version of The Ace of Spades! :) He'll love it! Anyway, I give this parody all 5's!
