The Lyrics

Note: I have absolutely nothing against street preachers who preach scriptures in love and work one-on-one to save people. But these new street preachers and yelling at people, judging the lost and other believers alike, and making like they have no sin which is a lie. A saved born-again believer still has a sin nature and a cross to carry. Even when one prays and repents honestly, they may still have personal struggles that the Lord needs to deal with. Jesus accepts you where you are and with your baggage. He is author and finisher of your faith. Christians are just sinners saved by grace through faith based upon the finished work of the cross. Jesus already did it all for you. All anyone needs is to do is accept His gift of salvation and eternal life. Let the Lord be the judge of what you did with your salvation and gifts He gives to each believer. Street preachers need agape or unconditional love for everyone. No exceptions. Hate the sin, love the person. Jesus spoke most of love and forgiveness, not hellfire damnation. And when He did it was aimed at the Sanhedrin & money changers in the Temple. That was righteous indignantion. Jesus sat with the lost and taught through parables.
They yell scripture day and night
Not to teach, but just to fight
Point a finger at you
Judge the outside and call girls whores
Signs and pontificating
They say they care about you
But they wanna feel superior

Jesus saved the lost sheep
Preached of love
The type agape (unconditional)
Spent time in the wild
Got baptized by
John the Baptist in water
Disciples He gathered
To become "fishers of men"
To open up heaven's door

(Chorus)
(Oh-oh, here they come)
Watch out folks
Street preaching punks
(Oh-oh, here they come)
Really bad street preachers
(Oh-oh, here they come)
Watch out folks
They show no love
(Oh-oh, here they come)
Antagonizing street preachers

Wouldn't pay attention if I were you
Their message is all askew
Poorly planned
Nothing they say comes from the heart
Delivery matters
Oh, the scriptures are there
But not rightly divided to start

(Chorus)

[Watch out for legalistic dudes]

Ooooooooh, brother!
(Oh-oh, here they come)
Here they come
With banners
Bullhorn turned up
(Whoa-oh, here they come)
(Watch out) they are street preachers
(Oh-oh, here they come)
(Bad street preachers)
Their minds all made-up
(Oh-oh, here they come)
Here they come, street theater
(Oh-oh, here they come)
(Watch out)
Creating potential fights
(Oh-oh, here they come)
Here they come
Thoughtless street preachers
(Oh-oh, here they come)
(Bad street preachers)
Their sermons are wild
(Oh-oh, here they come,)
Here they come
Meant to annoy, hellfire joy
(Oh-oh, here they come)
Oh, watch out, watch out
Watch out, watch out
(Oh-oh, here they come)
(Bad, bad) street preachers
(Oh-oh, here they come)
(Bad street preachers)
Deceiving and baiting
(Oh-oh, here they come)
The worst street preachers!

Don't pay attention, just walk on by...
