Well I have a taxpayer agenda
and I'm paying through my bank account
I have money, of course, in the market
but it seems that I'm cardboard box bound

I had deductions but more money I shall pay
I got a mortgage on my boat home in the bay
Like all the people here, I've had to sell my home
little money, I've tried to stop asking for loans

So now I'm on a taxpayer's agenda
and I know that my pockets aint deep
Sears's appliance costs a lot more Washington's
and my business has hit bankruptcy

I've got bills to pay, and children to need clothes
I need a new washer, I don't have money though
cant make my orders in a good food eatery
looks like from here on in its dust bunnies for me

So I don't need this taxpayer agenda
and I do work, but I don't have cash concealed
So my life is now cash-less and pointless
and I had to just sell my nice wheels

Now I live the taxpayer's agenda
more and more dollars I owe ev'ry year
Since they tell me I cant sell my business
and there's no luck, for bankruptcy is here

I made a payment on house and now I'm poor
cant make a living as a worker anymore
There aint much future for a man with no money
but I got no money, so I'm screwed for eternity
