Parody Song Title:

"It Makes No Sense To Me"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Two-thirty, impatient
My eyes are weakening
I know not equations
My mind is dwindling
I used to have flash cards
But now the math is tough
Trig tables - it's no use now
I cannot get this stuff

It makes, it makes no
It makes no sense to me
It makes, it makes no
It makes no sense to me

Dear teacher, that blackboard
It tells me nothing more
If only I could drop out
And run my parents' store
No problems, no theorums
I would not need this book
For now though, I'm stuck here
Flashing that dirty look

It makes, it makes no
It makes no sense to me
It makes, it makes no
It makes no sense to me

That clock is so evil
It never moves one inch
X and Y are not equal
Though you say it's a cinch
This tension, it's mounting
I cannot take this class
Let me run, out that door
You know I'll never pass

It makes, it makes no
It makes no sense to me
It makes, it makes no
It makes no sense to me

D@mmit! This song's from the 80s, not the 70s. Did the song exist before January 1st, 1980? I think not.

that was great! 555.......aoid -the idea and all that work he/she put in -and your only interest was whether he got the original's birthdate right - huh???? what's your motive in reading these parodies?
Silver Power - October 09, 2004 - Report this comment
It is he, not she, and thank you. I am sorry i got decade wrong.

well, as long as you're sorry, and you go without food and drink for a month, I suppose you're forgiven
aoid - October 09, 2004 - Report this comment
I forgive you. Just get it right next time.

Lol, I loved these two comments - Stuart McArthur - October 09, 2004 8:13:31 PM - Report Inappropriate Comment -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- well, as long as you're sorry, and you go without food and drink for a month, I suppose you're forgiven - AND Paul Robinson - October 10, 2004 1:40:57 AM - Report Inappropriate Comment -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Silver Power, very nice job, 5's... Hey, aoid, caught you saying something ALMOST nice to someone...Congratulations! How does it feel? - Those comments cracked me up. I think my latest parodies (This One And The Lord Of The Rings One) are waaaaaaaay better than my first 2 (The Don't Tell Me parody and the Couch Potato parody)

re aoid: "I forgive you. Just get it right next time".....er, okay, or else what??

lest any readers think aoid has somehow decapitated me in fury, going by the short name attached to the last comment, it was just a typo: please replace "st" with "stuart mcarthur"......ta

Yes, for some people, it's much more important to get the decade in the URL right than the lyrics themselves. I tend to actually read the songs, and this one was pretty good.
Ashkicksass - October 11, 2004 - Report this comment
I liked it too! And just ignore Aoid. Everyone else does...
Michael Pacholek - October 11, 2004 - Report this comment
Regardless of decade of origin, this was a great anti-Bush parody... You mean it's not an anti-Bush parody? Oh... Well, it's still pretty good.

But I did like the parody. It's just parodies about gross stuff that I don't like. And since the real Decade Police didn't show up to write a ticket, I had to do it myself. Like I said, I do like the parody itself.

I'm so dumb I completely missed that sentiment in your first posting, aoid - good on you for explaining tho
