The Lyrics

I know I've written one song based on the same old joke already (Minnie the Moosie), but a) that one's lost all its votes (sigh), and b) it didn't have many anyway, so I reckon it's worth another stab...
Showdown! Stop playin' around
With that mangy, stupid hound
Who's sittin' down on cobblestones
Lickin' his balls, it's
Flippin' Goofy
(ha ha dada da da... flippin' Goofy)

Well, your honour
I abhor sin
Which is why we are divorcin'
Minnie's got no time for me
Doin' the dirty,
Feelin' Goofy
(ha ha dada da da... feelin' Goofy)

I said she's a ho'
And she says I'm a creep
She's drunk and she's rowdy and ever so cheap
And I didn't say anything 'bout her buck teeth
Wife, I know you're
F***in' Goofy
(ha ha dada da da... f***in' Goofy)

Very good. One of the better 59th Street parodies I've seen.

It's the 59th Street Bridge Song. Actually, it's the Queensboro Bridge. Only Manhattanites call it the 59th Street Bridge. Anyway, this is actually an old joke: Mickey is testifying in his divorce trial, and the judge says, "Mr. Mouse, did you just say that your wife is insane?" And Mickey says, "No, Your Honor, I said she was f---ing Goofy!"

I always heard the joke as the judge saying "You can't divorce your wife just because she has buck teeth", and Mickey replies... well, I guess you know the punchline ;-)
I guess I must have been too concerned with my Heinz ketchup on the title... oops. And my favourite parody to this OS is this one: http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/simonandgarfunkel10.shtml

Goofy and funny, Phil! (Never had thought before of Goofy being a dog, but I guess he is, since he licks his balls.)

The 57th St. Bridge Song? Haha. Phil, shame on you. I can tell you that nobody is feeling groovy on that bridge or any other bridge in and out of Manhattan this week - if you have to hoof it. By the way, I had always heard the joke as Michael tells it. Got to start walking home now. bob
