The Lyrics

You just gotta love Congress!
Insipid squeals rife—
it’s just inanity,
a vocal crap tide
from those lost to reality.
Blowhardcore cries
coupled with a lying spree.
Bills are a pork ploy. . .greedy kleptocracy.
Because they’re sleazy bums, sleazy ho’s;
their grifting high, their ethics low.
Any way the wind blows—how they pander to you and me daily.

Maniacs kill a plan
that might very well have led
to results, but now it’s dead.
Maniacs cry things to stun
a sentient being in the world today.
Maniacs, this crew.
When they keen it makes me cry
and fills me with much pain as well as sorrow.
Blather on, blather on, immaterial their chatter.

Stooge-prate from guys so numb
sends shivers down my spine—
body politic ain’t fine.
“Goodbye deadwood bodies!” Wish it were so.
Can’t believe we’ve got this kind who bray nontruths.
Maniacs, this crew (from their mouths ill winds blow).
I want them to fly;
they suborn perjury, nearly one and all.

I see pulling strings like Gepetto’s on this clan:
scary fools, scary tools doing the fat-cat-gang blow.
Dunder dolts and blighting very, very frighting me.
Galling yo-yos, galling dodos,
’ppalling dough-ho’s, crawling low blows,
yawling smoke-blow frigging schmoes, mass-nitwit show.
And they loathe the poor; joy comes from those with money;
though some cry poor: ploy that’s pander scammery.
Their nonsense, rife. . .drool for autocracy.
“Sleazy bum,” “sleazy ho” monikers just so.
Bullshitters: nearly all they say is faux, most is faux;
bullshitters: nearly all they say is faux, oh so faux;
bullshitters: nearly all they say is faux, faux smoke-blow.
Smoke is what they blow—that and mo’ (members)
members of those who have got dough,
members, what they blow,
blow, blow. . . .
Gross Mammon seekers, madness speakers, manic screamers; a freak show
[Dead]beats smell no good, and their drivel is mendacity.
City’s D.C.
So you think you can stop them? When unicorns fly!
If you have enough lucre, each one you can buy.
So lazy, oh so corrupt, and lazy.
Love to kick ’em out, but can’t kick ’em out, so just jeer.
So f**k those schmucks.
They’re shredding to tatters our democracy.
All the while they natter, bullshit’s what they natter freely.
Every day ill winds blow.
