Long as I remember,
The drain's made funny sounds.
Ponds of misery formin',
Refusin' to go down.
Tool men screwed their snakers,
Tryin' to grind the chunks.
And my plumber asked in wonder,
"Who clogged the drain?"

I lacked all charisma,
Streamin' seltzer by the quart.
Bought a batch of Drano,
I watched the water foam.
Tried pure lye and rooters,
Trap was old and stained.
And I wondered, as I blundered,

Nervous kings and laymen
Volunteered for chore.
They gouged the mush with jetters.
Items were deformed.
Still the drain kept balkin',
Failin' to get clear.
And my plunger seemed to slumber.
