"Lied, Dubya Lied"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Wait a minute, Mike, this seems like such an obvious title. Surely, someone MUST have used it be now... (searches) Nope, not even William Tong. A few good ones to this title (particularly Johnny D's), but this is the first one to be connected to Our Fearless Appointed Wartime Leader With a Purpose, who must never be questioned, lest ye be branded a traitor by Captain Terhune and the Not-So-Swift Lurkers for Truth!
(instrumental opening)

Seventy-three, he bailed out
on his National Guard stay.
Called it such a gyp
and here's what he had to say:

"I'm calling everyone to go along
with my future war.
We'll get oil and be welcomed
as liberators!"

No one stood up tall to tell him
it wouldn't work at all.
They were too busy watching
that old Dow Jones fall!

So he gave such a bad war
and economy
while New Orleans sailed out
into history!

Lied, Dubya lied
and he is such a drip!
Be amazed at his long
and ever-stranger trip!

Lied, Dubya lied
and he is such a drip!
On our way to a world
that we all should have missed!

(instrumental break)

Seventy-three, he bailed out
on his National Guard stay.
Called it such a gyp
and here's what he had to say:

"I'm calling everyone to go along
with my future war.
And if it don't go the way I like
we'll just stay the course!"

Lied, Dubya lied
and he is such a drip!
Be amazed and his long
and ever-stranger trip!

Lied, Dubya lied
and he is such a drip!
On our way to a world
that we all should have missed!

Lied, Dubya lied
and he is such a drip!
Be amazed at his long
and ever-stranger trip!

(guitar fadeout)

I enjoyed it... had to dig up the OS... Lied, Dubya lied and he is such a drip! On our way to a world that we all should have missed! was a great stanza, funny and gets the point across in no uncertain terms (like nuculur)
