The Lyrics

Well we all have a shirt
that we hide away forever
and we take it out and show ourselves
when everyone has gone
might be chocolate that was spilt
on that silk and on that leather
its the color of the stained shirt
but wed love to try it on

well we all eat our food
but we disreguard the danger
though we do so many secrets
what if your food had fell
why are you so suprised
havent you ever had a stained shirt
didnt you ever fall in the mud and
then have to change your clothes

use tide and all
and wash again
theyll never come out
no matter what happons, oh oh
you wash it
why cant it desolve
you should know by now
the problems never solved

once i used to believe
that I could hide the stained shirt
'till I put it in the washer
and the stain there still remained
when I took it to the cleaner
they refused to leave an answer
it was then I found the stained shirt
could never be revived

well we all eat our food
but we disreguard the danger
though we do so many secrets
what if your food had fell
why are you so suprised
havent you ever had a stained shirt
didnt you ever fall in the mud and
then have to change your clothes

use tide and all
and wash again
theyll never come out
no matter what happons, oh oh
you wash it
why cant it desolve
you should know by now
the problems never solved

we may never understand
why the stained shirt is required
but it isnt always ugly
and it isnt always wrong
though it drowns in soapy water
we may never quench the fire
or give into the desire
when a stained shirt comes along

This has never been my favorite Billy Joel song, but there is a little humor in your parody. Not my favorite of yours, but it's ok. I gave it 3's across the board.

This actully is my all time favorite Billy Joel song (i am a huge Billy Joel fan), and the parody starts out funny, but it sort of drags on at the end
