The Lyrics

This parody is posted with apologies to Ingeborg S. Nordén, whose announcement of her upcoming ABBA parody "No More Pee, No More Poo" made this "parody of a parody", or "meta-parody", too tempting to resist...
(instrumental intro)

Yes more carefree laughter
More dumps ever after
Flicking out the latest poops
Smears on my thighs
Bathroom songs that grunt and bend
Making me sigh

Yes more pee, yes more poo
Nobody can overdo
Yes more pee, yes more poo
Funny for a smile, and those smiles are cool
Poo material's browner, I know
Butt-squeeze lets it go
Yes more pee, yes more poo
Hope to smell something new

Feces--good sprays, bad sprays
Dump-spray fizzes always
Sparked by bold internal fumes
Oh it will spray
Now it's near my hot anus
Such mess to spray

Yes more pee, yes more poo
Nobody can overdo
Yes more pee, yes more poo
Toilet's got its charm, hope this time it's poo
Constipation's not easy, I know
Hard to let it go
Yes more pee, yes more poo
Hope to pee something new

(instrumental courtesy-flush)

Yes more pee, yes more poo
Nobody can overdo
Yes more pee, yes more poo
Nature's call rings up--when you've gone, it's phew
Public toilets are harder, I know, but please let it blow
Yes more pee, yes more poo
Sing this song in the loo

(instrumental flush-out)

This must be defecate ABBA day! They're both good but this one's a little... aaargh... uhh... uhh... sicker! BTW, something I learned via the field of medicine, do you know that the number two (no pun intended) place of death, after the bed, is on the toilet?
John Barry - September 26, 2004 - Report this comment
Dueling duodenums!.
Johnny D - September 26, 2004 - Report this comment
Ugh...hmm...well, I'm certainly no "aoid", but this is a bit much. 5 for pacing since it matches the original song well, and 5 for overall, especially because of what John Barry calls the "dueling duodenums" juxtaposition with the other ABBA parody...but this parody's just a little too "sh*tty" for me to give it more than a 3 for "How Funny". So, 5-3-5 from me. But it's still kind of funny - and well-written!
Jared, on behalf of Inga. - September 26, 2004 - Report this comment
OK, you damn dirty apes, this was low. Really low.....and apparently the sequestered simians decided to do this in secret, as there was no group parody thread for this one. all Inga did was express herselfd, and you retaliate with this unneeded attack. Or perhaps this was a single author hiding in the Monkey Room so they wouldn't have to indentify themselves? I speak on Inga's behalf, as I have before when sh'es too scared to stand up for herself for whatever reason...and well, this sickens both her, and myself. I demand a member list of this paritcular assmeblage of monkeys. you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I admit that I enjoyed it.

Jared, who gave you the right to speak for Inga. Sure it was underhanded for ARFOM to steal her ideas. But as granny used to say "Two wrongs don't make a right." Maybe you should give Inga a backbone instead of being a mouthpiece for rebuttal. As for the parody itself, I won't lower myself by voting for this junk.

Oldtimer, Inga is a friend...a GOOD freind! And she has asked me to stand up for her on several occasions, including this one!
Oldtimer - September 26, 2004 - Report this comment
IMHO, maybe you could be a better friend if you taught her how to stand on her own 2 feet. Co-dependency will only lead to more problems.

FWIW, I bear no grudges against anyone here and won't call names--but I was extremely embarrassed to see this, even if the author has as much right to speak his/her mind as I did. In the interests of fairness though, I won't vote...
Claude Prez - September 26, 2004 - Report this comment
First I need to apologize to Johnny D; until I read his comment I was certain he was the "guilty" primate. I'm sorry to see that Inga is embarrassed about this--the whole episode is pretty funny if you think about it, and it was definitely a clever move. Anyway, as founder of the monkey room, I felt I should weigh in, clarify that it wasn't me, and shamelessly remind everyone that it's all good: http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/julieandrews12.shtml
neither "Aoid" nor "Harlow Goobley" - September 27, 2004 - Report this comment
I just feel that poo is a disturbingly gross subject of parodism. I'll bet Aoid thinks so, too.
John Lennon - September 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Al they are saying, is give poop a chance!
Yoko Ono - September 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Whoever made that last comment was not my hubby; he's been dead almost 24 years.

Claude, my applause for standing up for free speech. I think you better sit down again, though. d;:^)
Claude Prez - September 30, 2004 - Report this comment
Thanks, Bob. Just to be clear, though, I'll reiterate: I thought it was a funny idea, but I'm not the one who wrote this song.

I disprove of this "rebuttal" parody. Not because I don't agree with the content, but because "NO more pee, NO more poo" sounds more similar to TOS's title.

The author of the parody has authorized comments, and wants YOUR feedback.
