The Lyrics

To all the self-righteous, pompous know-alls who feel that it is their mission to show up your lack of grammar, spelling, or p-p-punctuation. Wish they'd all f-f-f ***** go away. ;o)
People who try to put you down (talkin’ bout your punctuation)
Ain’t got a life, that’s what I’ve found (talkin’ bout your punctuation)
Your spelling corrected and put in b-b-bold (talkin’ bout your punctuation)
My grammar stinks too, so I’ve been told (talkin’ bout my punctuation)

It’s bad punctuation
It’s bad punctuation, you see

Wish they’d all *f-f-fade* away (talkin’ bout my punctuation)
Know they can read what I’m trying to s-s-say (talkin’ bout my punctuation)
Showing off their intellectuali-s-s-sation (talkin’ bout my punctuation)
Picking at my p-p-punctuation (talkin’ bout my punctuation)

It’s my punctuation
This is my punctuation, baby

Why don’t you all *f-f-fade* away (talkin’ bout my punctuation)
Self-righteous *prigs* that’s what I s-s-say (talkin’ bout my punctuation)
Showing off pompous ind-d-dignation (talkin’ bout my punctuation)
By showing up my lack of p-p-punctuation (talkin’ bout my punctuation)

It’s my punctuation
It’s my punctuation, baby

You people who try to put others down (talkin’ bout our punctuation)
Get a life you pompous clown (talkin’ bout my punctuation)
It’s its’ isn’t ain’t, I read you scold (talkin’ bout my punctuation)
Yeah, hope your keyboard dies before you get old (talkin’ bout my punctuation)

It’s my education
It’s my education, dickweed.

(Painfully:) OOH! You had a good thing going until the literal final word. (d***w**d) I'm afraid I'll have to dock you an "overall" point for that: 5...4...4. Pick out the "weeds" next time and you won't catch it from people like me. (And don't say I'm the only profanity-hater on the site, because I know there are others on here!)

Sister, don't get me wrong when I post one I'm working on, about commas. Not directed at you. I'm trying to revive my atrophied copyediting skills.

Hey John B - NO worries. Mine is specifically directed but I'm sure that there are a few others out there who know exactly what I mean. Jonathan S Thanks for the votes and warning - and as a friendly piece of advice to yourself and others who have a problem with satirical profanity - best to avoid the majority of my work then because I WILL continue to exercise my right to free speech within the accepted confines of the site. x
