Parody Song Title:

"Darling Needs More Booze"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

rum ?
her stock has taken wing and slid away
beer ?
no pabst about, she will not find a stray
wine has but a few minutes to breathe
then its thrown down her throat with much glee

my darling needs more booze
she cannot bear to wait an extra minute for that bottle
my darling needs more booze
if not a whisky sour, then a martini, she will throttle
but supplies are weak from having snoots impromptu

black cows ?
she ordered four or five but was not smashed
she always has the stamina to last
but i see, time to time, she's confused
its the times when she's drank too much hootch
it may bring about her doom

my darling needs more booze
she cannot bear to wait an extra minute for that bottle
my darling needs more booze
if not a whisky sour, then a martini, she will throttle
but supplies are weak from having snoots impromptu

crow ?
it fills her crazy head but she ain't high
rye ?
she could be called a souse, i realize
its ok, no one's immune

my darling needs more booze
she cannot bear to wait an extra minute for that bottle
my darling needs more booze
if not a whisky sour, then a martini, she will throttle
but supplies are weak from having snoots impromptu

Laughing my Absolut off at the title alone!

I'll drink to this one! Perhaps a fifth. Also one of my all-time favorite original songs. Even if John Sebastian was stoned out of his gourd when he sang it at Woodstock.

MP stole my opening remark line, but I knew SOMEBODY would have already used it. What, only 2 votes so far? Anyway, this was really funny. I really thought the "snoots impromptu" line ending was exceptionally clever. 5's ~ ~ ~

Great parody, Alvin, and I personally don't drink that much and am considered a good choice as a designated driver despite a non-lethal, non-injurious accident that I brought up in a comment on one of AFW's parodies submitted on February 2nd, 2009. Here you go, Alvin, 5 cold beers, 5 glasses of wine, and 5 shots of distilled liquor, adding up to 5-5-5.
