The Lyrics

...the lyrics of "a day in the life" transposed into "got to get you into my life"...
i was alone...i read the news
i didn't know what i would sight there
a lucky man..who made the grade
he blew his mind out at the light there
ooh...and i started a-laughin'
ooh...at that sad photograph then
just another day...in my life

and later on...i saw a film
the english army won the war, true
a crowd of folks...just turned away
i had to look, i'd read the book through
ooh...out of bed, i am fallin'
ooh...through my hair, comb is crawlin'
just another day...in my life

love to turn you on like a light

i went downstairs...i had a cup
and lookin' up, i'm late and must tear
i found my coat...i grabbed my hat
i caught the bus in seconds flat, there
ooh...up the stairs for some smokin'
ooh..start to dream as words spoken
just another day...in my life

love to turn you on like a light

i read the news....four thousand holes
in blackburn, lancashire, they found them
and though the holes...were rather small
they felt the need to go and count them
now they know how many needed
till the albert hall's completed
just another day in my life
i'll turn you on just like a light

Hey Alvin, how have you been? Long time no see! I've missed you lots! I hope everything goes well in driving school for you! Anyways, this is another compounded/transposed Beatles parody I've enjoyed...and then some! When I get back into parody writing again, I'm thinking of doing one myself. When I read/sing your parodies, I feel happy for the rest of my life! Well, I've got to give you three sets of 5's into your life! ;)

I always enjoy your transposed-Beatles-song parodies, and I'm glad to hear that you're doing good, as for me, a little bit of bad, a little bit of good, and lots of in-between. Great as usual, and 5s to you.
