The Lyrics

I really should stop writing these autobiographical parodies...
I'm penniless
There is a bailiff with a court order
To seize my motor car and everything I own
And I'm watching my possessions go
So long, stereo

On the telephone's a caller from the Revenue
Telling me I owe ten thousand quid in tax
And they're wanting me to pay it back
All the cash I had... very sad

Penniless, I'm stony broke, I got no "G"s
Soon I'm gonna file for bankrupcy
I'm skint, did I say that:

I'm penniless
There is a man here 'bout the telephone
Says he'll disconnect if I don't pay the bill
And it's gonna stay cut off until
'til I say I will

Penniless, I'm stony broke, I got no dough
How I'm gonna pay up, I don't know
I'm skint, did I say that:

There ain't no point in my connecting to the internet
My ISP was off the list of guys to pay
So I won't get my email today
No there ain't no way

I'm penniless
The bailiff takes another liberty
And the phone man disconnects the phone
Cutting off the Revenue mid-flow
That'll make 'em mad... very sad

Penniless, I'm stony broke, I got no cash
Not even a toke left in my stash
I'm skint, did I say that:
I'm penniless, I'm stony broke, boracic lint
(Don't you know that's rhyming slang for skint?)
Penniless
:.(

I'm sorry, Phil, there ain't a thing I can do. My wife and my kids are all down with the flu. And I was just thinking about calling on you, 'cause I'm busted. I'm broke, no bread, I mean like nothing. (Well, that's not completely true. I don't have a wife or kids.)

that last emoticon paced beautifully, Phil, as did the whole thing of course and good to see some trademark educational stuff in there, ie. boracic lint - I did not know that - LOL - 555

Thanks, all...
Stuart - I used "boracic" in one other parody recently, and got a comment about not knowing what it meant.. so I thought I'd explain this time (and the great thing about rhyming slang explanations, is that they're kind of easy to rhyme)
