The Lyrics

I'm at badave.com
It's time to choose Mr Anderson
Blue Pill takes you through the rabbit hole (Wo, wo, wo)
The world is fake Mr Anderson
Nothing but a program for our brains
(Hey, hey, hey...hey, hey, hey)

We've come to know that you're the chosen one who's on file
The oracle has taught us all about yourself
Look around you, its like we live under Sim City skies
All around no real sound it's the computer's realm

Its up to you Mr Anderson
Trinity thinks your butt's hot as hell (Wo, wo, wo)
Come save us please Mr Anderson
Come save us from the Agents that we face
(Hey, hey, hey...hey, hey, hey)

Phone in from a phoning place; or listen for the ring tone
Jump up 2,000 feet, physics you'll break
You'll outsmart the A.I., and you'll still have perfect hair
Best of all, we'll upload kung fu to your head

Blue, Blue, or Blue, Mr Anderson
Morpheous will take you down below (Wo, wo, wo)
Come join us please Mr Anderson
The Matrix is just a game to play
(Hey, hey, hey...hey, hey, hey)

Pizza isn't pizza just a brain trick you'll see soon
Your clothes are a mere figment-so is taste
Cry about it, Pain-don't doubt it
Without you we'll lose
but if you stay here-it's all fake booze

There are no bowls, you ain't had a smoke
The people who you see are machine food (Woo, woo, woo)
So what you say Mr Anderson
Come on lets go and fly away
(Hey, hey, hey...hey, hey, hey)

They should've used this version for The Matrix soundtrack! Or at least got Laurence Fishbourn to sing it to Keanu.... always a treat to see your work here, Dave - great job!

Good title sub, and funny lines throughout. Great work. That reminds me of the 3rd parody I ever wrote for the site. It was about the Matrix and people avoided it like the plague. To be fair, though, it wasn't that good. Anyway, very good work, Dave.

Easily the funniest in this entire round of Artistry. I loved this one because I love "The Matrix" and some of the lines in here were just hilarious. Especially the line about "Sim City" and the fact that he's not smoking weed to experience this. Funny, funny stuff Dave.

Clever parody, Dave. Plus points for the change in the rhyme scheme in the 3rd chorus, just like the OS.

(Artistry) Absolutely brilliant stuff here, Dave. Even though it's a bit weird because it's clearly from the protagonist's point of view, but only Smith called him Mr. Anderson...man, this round's really brought out my inner dork...not that it was hidden much. 555!

(Artistry) Marvelous title sub and great intro into the parody. Really enjoyed this, but I'm with bobpie that it would have been awesome if written from Agent Smith's viewpoint.

(Artistry) I agree, with the title, I thought it was gonna be from Smith's POV, but it was still good and really funny!
