Sitting by a beach of oil,
And it looks like this beach is soiled.
I'm watchin' the ships go in,
And repair the damaged pipes again.

I'm just sittin' by the Oily Bay,
Will these Oil balls go away?
Oh, I think these people who are at bay, are wastin' their time.

I left my home in Cleveland,
And now I'm down Alabama Way.
They say they would finish the job soon,
And the oil won't be goin' away.

The way the oil reaches the bay, we're wastin' our time.

Looks like the politics don't change.
Everything still remains the same.
They just do whatever the hell they please.
It's just a cat-and-mouse game!

Looking at the oily birds,
And the beauty that will never return.
It was many miles that I roamed,
I might as well just go home.

I'm just gonna sit on the oily bay,
Looks like BP may be in trouble for days.
Oh yes, the people with this oiled mess is wastin' our time.
