For a long time after Dragonfly's first defeat at the hands of Chii, Freya and Hideki, persocoms the world over would remember the events in a sort of code, lyrics saved into their databanks of this shanty celebrating those fateful events. Nobody knows who exactly created it, but oral history will show this is the version most widely sang. ...to the tune of a great song from so long ago...
The time was 'leven-forty-one AM, and it began
The Chobit had her number up, nowhere she coulda ran
Oh, Dragonfly was faster on the draw and nabbed his prey
On Chii's mouth was his hand in a flash and she was snatched away.
Onto the beaten storefront path fell the hairpiece that she wore
And then the bookstore owner, he took it from the floor
He showed it to Hideki, her "someone just for me"
Now he knew that he had to find his lovely little Chii.
He met with Shimbo and Minoru, then they caused a fuss
We've gotta save the Chobit 'cause her fate depends on us
Yeah, find that hacker's hideout, boys, and run his plans aground
If we don't save Chii-chan, she's gonna be shut down.
The guy brought Chii home with him on that fatal day
Chii didn't know Dragonfly, no, she couldn't say
A single thing, like "Help me!" but she had one ace
Or she would have if Hideki's search had him so lost in space.
A few long days and dreary nights, she dealt with Dragonfly.
He would hack into her, or at least he would try
He wrote a nasty program that he thought was a hit
Hideki had to rescue Chii before she would submit.
He met with Shimbo and Minoru, then they caused a fuss

Then Hideki came at last, he knew that he was doomed
That bloody little hacker freak was cast down from on high

Listened to it youtube over while reading your parody, first time I heard it. I'll trust your pacing and lyrical flow.(I did get lost, but that was my fault, I just started the song again). 555, a good song to play the Chobits series off of. Awesome. ^__^
