HURRICANE

The hurricane, is such a pain from across the sea
It took my door, half the second floor, and my chimney
All season long, the same old song, storm surge and blowing sand
Two hellish days of a hurricane
Such a fright, when they strike at night, roofs go flyin’ by
The worlds unglued beneath the hue of an ink black sky
Then very close to a fire hose, the rain envelopes you
I lost it all, I lost it to a hurricane
The autumn storms and the winter gales just cannot compete
What was your life, is suddenly lying in the street!
And then you cry, you’d rather die, than go thru this again
So, so much strain… from a hurricane
A hurricane
Dammed hurricane
