The Lyrics

You know what, I just might to write a parody of Revolution #9
I'm watching a show
at the movie theater
and a cell phone loudly beeps

I'm in a meeting
with some important people
and a cell phone loudly beeps

I don't know how, how I can take this
Invasion of my good time

So why don't you just be considerate
Or else it will be it.

I'm at a bookstore
Enjoying William Burroughs
And a cell phone loudly beeps

I sit down to eat
eating sushi
A damn cell phone loudly beeps

I don't know why
When you're on the commode
You don't put it on pause mode

I don't know why
you don't use common sense
It makes the atmosphere tense

i am with a girl
And i am entertaining
And a cell phone loudly beeps

I'm having some fun
Right up until
That damn cell phone loudly beeps

(guitar solo fades to end)

Here comes the phone, doo-doo-doo-doo, here comes the phone, and I say, smash it! Right! Great one! Although I don't know if Burroughs wrote anything about cell phones. I'd love to read it if he did.

Agree with sentiment, but not with your rhyme scheme. And I already did #9

Tim, all fives! "When you're on the commode.." --what a line. This parody says it all about cells and says it FUNNY. Thanks for the laugh!
