Oddest score that I had ever seen.
Hard to fathom just what you could mean,
How could you bowl
a seventeen?

Basketball,
Maybe if some of your shots would fall.
Or your team hit lots over the wall,
Seventeen runs,
Can be baseball.

But how could that be? You weren’t three,
There when you bowled.
Did you try to kick, or use sticks,
The ball to ho-o-old?

Gravity
Should make at least some pins fall, you see.
