During WW2 the Baka was a rocket-propelled suicide plane dropped from a Betty bomber to attack Allied naval assets in the Pacific. The plane was called Ohka (Cherry Blossom) by the Japanese and was made by Yokosuka. The US, however, called it the Baka (Fool) Bomb because they viewed the Kamikaze attacks as both futile and insane.
