The Lyrics

I am a huge NASCAR fan and enjoy all the races, but Talladega Superspeedway's two events in April and October stand out to me as two of the most intense of the season. I decided to poke fun at Selena Gomez & The Scene's 2011 hit "Love You Like a Love Song" and do a NASCAR-style remake of that song about the Talladega Speedway because I had listened to that song too many times against my will.
Just six laps to go
Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s trying to steal the show
And the 10th-place guy is old Front Row Joe
But Jimmie and Tony are on the prowl
And listen to Matt Kenseth's Toyota howl
Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin keep up the right
But the 88 car is out of sight
And it's winding down now - NASCAR tells the guys there's just 5 laps left
It's a barn-burner to the finish at Talladega
Just 5 laps to go at Talladega, just 5 laps to go at Talladega
Just 5 laps to go at Talladega, and all the fans are on their feet-feet-feet-feet-feet
Now it's 4 to go at Talladega, down to 4 to go at Talladega
Only 4 to go at Talladega, and the fans are still on their feet-feet-feet-feet-feet
Almirola's up in front - cause he won the pole - and he's looking for a win
But there's a new leader on the backstretch - Junior's back in front
But the 3 car's coming up fast
And Jr. has to deal with the guys from RCR
and the field's going to take it four-wide around
The Biff and the two, hopefully they're not screwed
It's anyone's race with three to go at 'Dega
Just 3 laps to go at Talladega, just 3 laps to go at Talladega
Just 3 to go at Talladega, and the fans are still on their feet-feet-feet-feet-feet (go Dale!)
Two laps to go
Dale's on the prowl, while his motor howls
But Kyle Larson's fast, can't settle for last
The white flag's out at Talladega
It's the final lap at Talladega, it's the final lap at Talladega
It's the final lap at Talladega, and the fans are still on their feet-feet-feet-feet-feet
The checkered flag's almost out at Talladega, checkered flag's almost out at Talladega
Coming down to the line at Talladega, Junior's got the fans on their feet-feet-feet-feet-feet
Dale Earnhardt, Jr. comes up short as rookie Michael Annett wins the Aaron's 499 by two one-hundredths of a second!

There was a slight error in this song: the Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano line should be "keep up the fight", which I flubbed as "keep up the right".
