There have been snow flurries
So bad I can't move the door

Although it has snowed a ton
I have to groan when I see snow plows
Those drivers I'll maul
Through this slush I'll crawl
Due to these snow plows
And I don't know how school's open now
It's due to snow plows!!!

If driving is too risky
They'll send out this news report
Students now can sleep in or go build a big snow fort
But if truckers go spread salt upon that ice
Then we will have to pay the price

So I don't wish for sun
Clouds can toss huge chunks of that hail down
On paths we'll slip and fall
But they will clean the roads
With those damn snow plows
It is so lowbrow that I'll have to scowl
I want no snow plows!!!

Stuck here waiting for the bus
It's twelve below and I hate snow plows!

LOVE this! Perfectly paced and very funny - particularly liked the part about the students (brought back some memories of my art student days, I'm almost embarrassed to say!) A big snowy 555 from me.

Same thought as well. Unfortunately, there are some schools that opens even if there is one foot of snow. I should know being that I went to that school :(

(ABC) So, basically the reason why Bart Simpson got pelted with snowballs when Homer became Mr. Plow, then. I've never experienced a snow day (there have been days when school ended at 12 due to the heat, though), but this was still a really funny parody, real top notch. 555!

I thought this was funny. During my time at BGSU, the 100 years it was open before I got there, they never closed school...and in the 4 years I was there, they closed it twice to freezing tempretures! Nice work as always.

Funny concept and I can relate as a New Yorker. I found the pacing a bit hard to match in some areas, but overall you plowed through nicely Matty

(ABC) I actually had a little trouble with pacing too, strangely. The lines should have matched up, but I just couldn't get certain ones to sound right. Probably a mistake at my end. Funny and I can absolutely relate. I hate all snow! It just causes issues.
