The Lyrics

I did this song for biology class. It's about the composition of a cell...so...all you nerds...Enjoy!
Yeah,
Guess what this is,
Ayo, Hooke,
Hit "em with another one,
I think they in trouble,
Woo!
Mito,
Chondria into ATP,
It feels awfully small, say,
Listen,

Now every time you take a seat or every time you move your feet there are extensive microscopic things that happen inside of you,
With every breath you exhale or every time you watch whales, it's like a work force in there, I bet you didn't have a clue,
Now, you'd be surprised, I swear you won't believe your eyes, when I show you everything that I am going to,
That inside of your bodies, in every single pore, are living creatures, you're like a living, talking zoo,
From our point of view, everything cannot be seen as, to see them, you will need a lit up microscope,
But once we magnify past limits of the naked eye, we can observe the composition of the human throat,
Now, take a second, look in there, as we look through your skin at all those little dots that move around all over you,
Yes, those are cells and each one is in there for a reason so, if you'd like, listen as I explain them all to you,

Now if you're any creature or plant that is now livin', then there are building blocks of life that help compose you, cannot see,
The mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum a nucleus some vacuoles and a few tiny Golgi,
"Cuz they're tiny,
10 micrometers across,
"Cuz they're tiny,
From the monkeys to the moss,
Ah,

As you can see, there are organs there in me and it is similar in cells but on a scale small,
They're organelles and in the cells, I know them well so what the hell? I might as well, during this time, name them all,
The nucleus, the ribosome, the lysosome, the vesicle, the nucleolus, ER, Golgi, and mitochondria, too,
The cytoskeleton, the cytoplasm, centrioles, cell wall and vacuoles, plasmodesmata, chlorophyll and that's the cell,
You're prob'ly wonderin' why there is so many organs and I am telling you that every part there has a job,
The mitochondrion converts organic matter into the substance ATP, for the lay man, that is energy,
The vacuoles hold water and they capture food matter where it is held to help preserve the delicate balance inside,
And the lysosomes hold enzymes which digest the food matter and then get rid of all waste products; they're made in the Golgi plates,

Now if you're any creature or plant that is now livin', then there are building blocks of life that help compose you, cannot see,
The mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum a nucleus some vacuoles and a few tiny Golgi,
"Cuz they're tiny,
10 micrometers across,
"Cuz they're tiny,
From the Jesus to the croos,
Ah,

Now the Nucleus is the most important part of the cell, it is where it is controlled from, it gives direction up from the block,
It is the brain; it holds the information necessary for splitting of the cells and it controls reactionary stock,
And it is covered with the rough endoplasmic reticulum a-tekke-tikki-tekke-tock,
And the endoplasmic reticulum is the highway of the cell; it provides the motion from the point A to the point of B,
And, of course, if can be called rougher at times when it is studded with ribosomes, that's a protein,
And all that the ribosome does is that it translates the messages of the RNA and what it has to say,
And the Golgi does another thing; it packages the proteins and the matter of the cell that the ER throws its way,
And now you know the functions and the microscopic junctions of the complex organism in all of you we call the cell,

Now if you're any creature or plant that is now livin', then there are building blocks of life that help compose you, cannot see,
The mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum a nucleus some vacuoles and a few tiny Golgi,
"Cuz they're tiny,
10 micrometers across,
"Cuz they're tiny,
From the workers to the boss,
Ah.
For some reason, this doesn't really make me want to do the rest of my biology homework.
